In which you will learn that parsing real, useful languages doesn't have to be that hard!
Marpa is a new (first released in 2011), powerful parsing engine for Perl and C, combining the flexibility and ease-of-use you could never get from Yapp, the speed you could never get from RecDescent, and the expressiveness you could never get from a do-it-yourself parser.
Examples of parsers for both simple and real-world languages will be provided.
